We stumbled accross the following shots of rock god Keith's Richards' girls Theodora and Alexandra posing for GQ - embedding a range of louche looks that would make their daddy proud. The shots show they have learnt from the best! So we felt a small tribute to his majesty was owed in the name of ROCK!

Check out this 1968 video of the Rolling Stones singing one of our favourite records "Sympathy for the Devil". P.S watch Mick Jagger during the guitar solo, he goes nuts in true rock style! 

This track was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, inspired by "The Master and Margarita", a book written by Mikhail Bulgakov. British singer Marianne Faithful was Jagger's girlfriend at the time and she gave him the book. In the book, the devils a sophisticated socialite, "a man of wealth and taste". Richards claimed "Sympathy is quiet an uplifting song. Its just a matter of looking the devil in the face. He's there all the time. I've had very close contact with Lucifer - I've met him several times." The original title was "The Devil is my Name". Jagger said "Songs can metamorphasize, and Sympathy is one of those songs that started off like one thing and then I wrote it one way and then we started changing the rhythm. And then it became completely different. And then it got exciting. It started off as a Folk song and then became a Samba. A good song can become anything. It's got lots of historical references and lots of poetry". (FYI that quote was taken in the 60's for more clarity to why it doesn't really flow!!) Overall the song did and has become one of the greatest Rolling Stones hits of all time also putting Keith Richards in the top 50 guitar solos of all time! 

Has to be one of the best "gettin' ready" songs we love to rock out to!!
