Geek Chic is contagious and this unlikely fashion trend has spanned all corners of the globe this season making the uncool...well, cool again.

Glorifying the geek has seen thick-rimmed glasses, suspenders, buttoned-up shirts and ties, man-style trousers, A-line skirts and lace-up shoes, brogues dominating the catwalks from Milan to Melbourne and it's a trend that seems to be loved not just by fashionistas, but celebrities and designers everywhere.

Geek chic popularises everything fashion-loving crowds once loathed and now, the once criticised 'anti-fashion' that was the stereotypical geek style, is now being revered by people the world-over.

    love this style of clothes, probably because i love seeing some individuality come through with those who dress with the 'indie'/geek style.
    that brown velvet jacket in the photo looks awesome! if i could wear that kind of thing, i would definitely buy one!
